We've identified a DSE calibration bug: the calibration will not save to memory if either the Right or Down axis has a raw value of 4090 or higher.
Battle Beaver already flashes, saves, and re-locks every module before it leaves the shop to avoid this issue. Customers should not need to flash their modules, but if you attempt to and it is not saving the calibration, this page has the fix.
To circumvent this bug, plug in your DualSense Edge controller, open the Dualshock Calibration GUI, and follow these steps:
1. Click 'Finetune':
2. Select the 'Circularity' button or press R1, then click the 'Show raw numbers' box:

3. Check the values shown for the Right and Down directions.
-
- If the value is 4090 or higher: Select and change the value to 4000.
- If the value is 4089 or lower: No action required. The calibration should save.

4. Click the 'Done' Button and save your calibration.

5. Unplug, then replug your controller and verify the fix. The new calibration should have saved.
