Our GameCube Phob Pro Pick controllers are equipped with Smash Melee focused competitive performance upgrades. Complete with Smart Z, Tactile D-pad, and either Wavedash or FireFox Notches. The GameCube Phob Pro Pick controllers offer the competitive standard for GCC Melee players.

The Phob board comes equipped with Hall Effect Analog Sticks in place of the OEM physical contact carbon potentiometers prone to normal wear and tear. Powered by the RP2040, Phobs offer advanced users performance tuning features through sophisticated button commands. An input viewer is recommended when making changes to the controller settings. Notches:
Adopted by many SSBM professionals as the must-have option for accuracy and control; Wavedash and Fire Fox Notches are an artisanal custom rework of the left-stick octagonal gate to more accurately aim for those razor’s edge stick positions with ease.

The Smart Z mod gives the Z button a mouse click feel for a more satisfying and comfortable press.
The Tactile D-pad modifies the normal, squishy press with surface mounted dome switches for a more clicky and responsive feedback press.
The Trigger Plugs allow the trigger to press the bottom click at different heights; and by removing the spring, the trigger will rest at that height to provide the most comfort for your hands.

Micro Plug: Lowest Height at 1.25mm. (Similar feel to no plug)
Short Plug: Halfway Height at 2.5mm.
Tall Plug: Tallest Height at 5mm. (Will set to Trigger Mode 6)

Important Note About Specific Games:
Smash Melee utilizes the analog and digital inputs for L & R in unique ways and is recommended at least 1 trigger have the Spring Included to allow access to an adjustable light shield, though not essential.

Additionally, the GameCube Phob Pro Pick controller includes your choice of paracord for your own simple touch of style. The cable is sleeved over a refurbished OEM cable complete with the original copper shield and an OEM cable-end plug.*

With our variety of shell options, the stock Nintendo colors will include buttons and sticks refurbished with our best quality internal and external parts from lightly used OEM controllers. The eXtremeRate Crystal colors will include the matching button sets.
All parts are while supplies last.

B & C Grade controllers reflect the used condition of the outer shell. Discoloration, scratches, and dents can be expected with lower grades using the best available parts per the grade.

*Cable-end plug color will be matched to the color or theme of the controller. If not available, the cable-end plug will default to Indigo.

NOTICE: Mayflash GCC adapters are NOT recommended. Please use 1st party Nintendo GCC adapters. HHL and Lossless GCC adapters are also suitable.
