If you've been wanting to get your hands on a JDM-5X board but aren't interested in extra modifications and don't want to wait on International shipping, we have put together DIY conversion kits for at-home upgrades! All you need is a working PS4 controller (we recommend no older than JDM-040), and you can enjoy blazing fast 8k polling without the wait.
This JDM-5X DIY kit comes with 5 pin MIDAS (HE) thumbstick mechanisms. An OEM Sony Black Rear Shell pre-installed with USB-C is included in the kit, with the option of pre-installed x2 Rear buttons (standard placement) or without.
- Rear buttons will have shrink tube on wing connector to help prevent wire breaking
- Comes with a fresh pair of PS5 sticks
- Includes a Nylon printed mic plug
- Will be quickly flashed to ensure sticks are mounted and soldered correctly and all buttons fire, but will need to be calibrated once installed
- Will include a ribbon for USB-C but will require swapping over your led diffuser and holder

As this is a custom board, it is important to note that controllers built with this WILL NOT HAVE the following:
- Console connectivity
- Bluetooth connection
- Macros / Keybinding
- Rumble / Vibration
- Touchpad Tracking
- Gyro Input
- Battery
- Reset Button
