I had high hopes
I waited a few months to leave my review for BBC, and I'm glad I did. I ordered this for my husband to his specifications and after $200, two months of silence, and a handful of emails, we finally heard word that we were still a couple weeks out from production. While the delay in production is to be expected from such a small company, having to send an email after two months to ask where we were was unacceptable.
I was honestly days away from just requesting a refund of my money and now I wish I had as the positive reviews must have come from people who were far luckier than we. For roughly three months the controller worked perfectly and then the honeymoon was over. The left thumbstick started to peel and deteriorate and not long after that the right trigger became completely unresponsive unless abused into working.
Yes, with regular use controllers will start to degrade and eventually need to be replaced, however three months is far too short a lifespan for something custom made and fairly expensive and despite trying to find any information regarding a warranty, it's looking like we'll have to pay for them to repair their shoddy craftsmanship or wait for Sony to release theirs and hope for a miracle.
